Over the hump -- hopefully

It has been a busy couple of weeks with all of the doctor, dentist, audiologist, opthamologist, ENT, OB, hospital, and early access appointments, but things should settle down from here on out. They were not all for Alexa--it was Zac who had to see the opthamologist and dentist, Alisha who had a check with her OB, and Josh who will be seeing the orthodontist (don't have that one scheduled yet). The rest were for Alexa.

We did get her fitted for hearing aids which should be arriving on May 9th. Samuel is excited as he is getting new ones as well, so they will both have the same model just different colors. The newest development is the acid reflux diagnosis for the sweet little girl. She has had a stuffy nose for several weeks now and some unexplained agitation, so the ENT did a scope down through her nose which wasn't pleasant, but probably better than an upper GI which was the other suggestion. It showed red and inflamed vocal chords and esophagus, so she is now taking Prevacid. We hope this will solve the problem. Otherwise, she is gaining well and growing fast.

Next week's calendar looks more promising other than Brian's trip to MN and Josh's two practices, one regular and two re-scheduled soccer games.
